Castlemaine Fringe

Friday, 17 March 2023 - 9:00am to Sunday, 2 April 2023 - 10:00pm
Dja Dja Wurrung Country

The theme for the 2023 Festival is THRIVE.

Main features on the program will be the Art Windows Trail, our EPIC street party REACTIVATE! and gigs, performances and exhibitions in local venues.

In the true spirit of Fringe we invite YOU to host events, workshops, classes or performances.

Expressions of interest for festival events have now closed, however submissions for our Art Windows Trail remain open.

Over the years Fringe has worked hard to put on great musical and visual arts programs and this year we'll also be announcing a HUGE theatre program too, with offerings for all tastes!

Got kids? Then don't miss 'Soggy!'

Queer, curious, or really love sequins and a good show, then 'Macbeth-Murder On The Dancefloor', 'Moist' and 'An Evening With Brenda' might be for you?

'Carol from Clunes' and 'Cloverlea' promise big laughs, while 'Red' and 'Don't Wait!' are more personal journeys and reflections and for the serious theatre goer 'The Black Cat' will deliver!

The Castlemaine Fringe model means that all artists and performers take 100% of their ticket sales, but it also means they only get paid if you show up!
