Central Vic Climate Action

Saturday, 18 May 2024 - 6:00pm
Castlemaine West End Hall, Woodman St
Dja Dja Wurrung Country

Watch the Rising Tide short film about the Nov 2023 people’s blockade of the world's largest coal port in Newcastle on Awabakal and Worimi Country which shut down the port for 32 hours.

After the film, we’ll hear from locals who were there. Enjoy a warm supper of soup, bread and other deliciousness.

It’s time to escalate the defence of our climate. Time is short and the stakes could not be higher. Australia’s fossil fuel addiction is driving the world to the brink. We need to step up our defence of the climate by joining together to take mass direct action against the biggest threat to our future.
