GECO is turning 30 in 2023. Yes, from 1993 to 2023, just like that.
It's time to celebrate big and get the old and new friends together.
For now, let's save the date. Hit like, attend, or mark it in the kitchen calendar and start reminiscing about the good old times.
More info to come soon. And remember to join our mailing list to keep updated on all our events @ geco.org.au
About Geco
Goongerah Environment Centre Office (GECO) is a grass roots group fighting for protection of East Gippsland's forests.
Based in the small town of Goongerah in far East Gippsland Victoria, since 1993 we have campaigned for ancient forests under threat from logging using education and public awareness, political lobbying, non-violent direct action, citizen science and forest monitoring.
We live and work on the stolen lands of the Gunaikurnai and Bidewell and Monero people, where sovereignty was never ceded. We pay respect to the thousands of years of their ongoing custodianship of the land.
