This September, join hundreds of young people for three days of learning, inspiration and action to create a better world at Power Shift. For the first time ever, Power Shift is running as a hybrid event. This means that we’re running both an in-person event and an online summit at the same time! You can choose what type of ticket you want when you register - but first, here’s some info on what a hybrid event looks like.
About Power Shift
Climate change was a defining issue of this year’s Federal election - and young people were key to making that happen We learned how powerful we are when we come together in our communities to make climate a key priority everywhere. But this is just the beginning.
If we’re going to leave fossil fuels behind for good, make sure our world is powered by renewable energy, support communities to transition into new industries, and help prepare those on the frontlines to recover from climate disasters, we need to keep the momentum rolling and show our political leaders that the time for transformative change is right now.
That’s where Power Shift comes in. Power Shift is a 3-day, high-energy, youth climate summit bringing together hundreds of young people to build relationships and learn vital skills to take action for climate justice.
Get ready to hear from inspirational speakers: staunch activists on the frontlines of the fight against fossil fuels, experts who know how we fix this mess, and other young people who are using their power to create change.
Whether you’ve been involved in campaigns before or you’re brand new, this is the place for you. You’ll choose different workshops that match your interests and experience level - and we are committed to making this event as accessible as possible for everyone.
History tells us that the only way that we can shift things is if we band together in large numbers, tell stories and share our vision for a better future. When hundreds of people get in a room together (physical or virtual), magic happens: relationships form, we inspire each other and we make plans for how we are going to fight for justice.
