Keen to get out and about with other nature lovers? Our volunteer-led bushwalking and activities program and our citizen science programs will get you out and about exploring the places we love!

This latest program covers the period from mid-January to February as well as some of our March activities. More activities for March will be included in our Autumn activities program.

Join us this summer and you could:

- search for sea slugs at San Remo with our very own marine biologist Kade Mills
- snap beautiful pictures of the Wombat State Forest at an environmental photography workshop
- marvel on at pelicans at Edward’s Point on the Bellarine Peninsula
- take a walk in the cool forests in Dandenong Ranges National Park

Check out the full program of summer activities here.

New to bushwalking, activities and citizen science with VNPA?

We love having newcomers take part in our Bushwalking and Activities Program and citizen science activities.

If you’ve never been on one of our volunteer led bushwalks before, check out Everything you need to know. This covers what you need to know for all volunteer-led activities in this program. This includes info on how to register, difficulty levels for activities and more.

This program also includes activities from our citizen science programs ReefWatch and NatureWatch as well as special activities for families as part of our Wild Families program.

Join our mailing list to stay in the loop about upcoming activities.

Eco-shout national grassroots events calendar promotes actions, protests, film screenings, public forums, campaign training, workshops, conservation, revegetation and gatherings for environmental and social justice. Check out how much it's kicking off around the country - together we are lots! Add an event and we'll share it through social media at peak times and do our best to shout about it. Share the calendar with your grumpy mates who think there's nothing going on.
