The International Mining and Resources Conferences (IMARC) returns to so-called Melbourne this year and we are stepping up to resist the destruction this conference both causes and represents.

From the huge numbers resisting IMARC in 2019 to the incredible Beyond Mining: Protecting Land, Water and Life conference last year, and the many other protests against IMARC in the years before that, we are building a movement wide coalition to shut down, subvert and disrupt the conference.

We need as many people as possible organising many different parts of this resistance, from cooking to blockading to making art and many more, in order to help build this powerful force against IMARC, mining and extractivism! We need you to get involved!

We are organising regular all-in reports meetings to organise our resistance and provide a new place for people to get involved, check the events of our facebook page to see when the next one is. Send us a facebook message or email email community@blockadeimarc.com if you have any questions.

Our resistance to the IMARC conference is taking place on the unceeded sovereign land of the Woiwurrung and Boon Wurrung language groups of the Kulin Nations. We pay our respects to Elders past and present, and acknowledge and actively try to support the incredible indigenous resistance to injustice on this continent and around the world, including the staunch First Nations people who have stood with us to oppose IMARC.

Always was, Always will be, Aboriginal Land!
