Our scientific efforts focus on identifying and defending threatened species in native forests that face imminent destruction.

Native forests are crucial as they serve as the natural habitat where Tasmanian wildlife has evolved and thrived for thousands of years. These forests are their home.

Earlier this year, citizen science data played a pivotal role in halting the logging of Swift Parrot habitat in Southern Tasmania.

Join us this summer for a deep dive into Tasmania’s native forests and diverse ecosystems. Become part of a passionate community engaged in citizen science and surveying, and help build a critical database to protect Tasmania’s native forests from logging.

Register to receive updates of upcoming surveys and science in the forest.

Check out how much it's kicking off around the country - together we are lots! Add an event and we'll share it through social media at peak times and do our best to shout about it. Share the calendar with your grumpy mates who think there's nothing going on.
